Was Sirhan Sirhan hypnotically programmed to assassinate Bobby Kennedy? From 2008 to 2018, the late Dr. Daniel Brown, a leading expert on hypnosis and coercive persuasion at Harvard Medical School, and Sirhan's attorney at the time, Laurie Dusek, spent over 150 hours with Sirhan, trying to recover his memory of the shooting.
These sessions produced some extraordinary new evidence of the "range mode" programming allegedly used to set up Sirhan as the lone assassin. To mark the 50th anniversary of the assassination, Brown and Dusek discussed these new discoveries in detail for the first time.
To mark Sirhan Sirhan's 2016 parole hearing, a video essay on Sirhan's role in the assassination of Bobby Kennedy, remixing my previous film RFK Must Die (2008) and unseen footage of Sirhan's last parole hearing in 2011 with echoes of his case found in movies on amnesia and post-hypnotic suggestion. Shortlisted for AHRC Best Research Film of the Year 2016.
